Lamb & Honey Meatballs
These meatballs, made with lamb mince, are infused with fresh thyme leaves and drizzled in honey.
Total Time: Around 15 minutes
- 500g lamb mince
- 1 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 teaspoon dried thyme
- 2 teaspoons Worcestershire sauce
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 1 brown onion, finely chopped
- 1 teaspoon garlic
- 1 egg, beaten
- 1 lemon, rind and juice
- In a large bowl combine onion, garlic, mince, breadcrumbs, egg, thyme, lemon rind (not juice) and Worcestershire sauce. Mix thoroughly and roll into rissoles.
- Heat frypan and cook rissoles for 10-12 mins turning occasionally. Serve immediately. While warm, pour over lemon juice and drizzle with honey.
